Who am I to teach you this…
I’ve been a writer since coming out of the womb, scribbling notes on napkins and scrap paper as a toddler in diapers.
But the way I see stories isn’t just talent or work or something learned through education and credentials.
It’s lived fire.
Mine. Yours. Theirs.
For most of my career I worked in health and fitness, helping thousands of people reinvent their bodies, their confidence, and their lives.
But the illusion I observed on repeat had nothing to do with workouts or nutrition or lack of motivation.
It was their stories.
I spent 10 years listening to them.
Interviewing them.
Witnessing them.
Pulling the truth out of them.
Dismantling the lies.
Building them back up better.
Reconstructing new identities.
Training them to own the story.
Because the story that almost wrecks you is the same story that makes you powerful.
I know.
I’ve got oodles of them.
I’ve been through the trenches of WTF.
Two emergency surgeries to save my life.
One from bleeding out. One from a rare infection.
Thirteen surgeries altogether.
Septic. ICU.
A dead leg. Missing part of my spine.
Multiple infections that tried to take me out.
Chronic pain from the aftermath.
And that’s just the medical chapter.
There’s also divorce.
Homelessness.
Living inside my gym.
PTSD. Survivor’s guilt.
Grief.
Addiction. Bulimia. Abuse. Betrayal.
Starting a business as a single mom with no money and no safety net.
And more financial whiplash than I care to count.
So yeah.
I’ve earned some badass street cred in the adversity, resilience, and warrior department.
But I’m not here to compete in the suffering Olympics.
I’m here because I know what it takes to rebuild a life from the ashes of the one that almost took you out.
I don’t teach theory.
I teach what I’ve had to become.
Conviction.
Guts.
Fire.
Faith.
Fortitude.
Ruthless self-respect.
Learning how to lead yourself when every part of you wishes someone else would rescue you.
I’ve faced those chapters head-on, reconciled them, and done the work to lead myself cleanly through them.
They no longer own me.
They forged me.
They built the leader I am now — solid in my worth, my integrity, and my voice.
Sober leadership.
I’m a published author of The Machete Mentality, a ghostwriter, developmental editor, story architect, keynote speaker, and founder of Written by Robyn Lynn.

Thirty years in the trenches coaching people, interviewing them, listening to their stories, writing, editing, calling bullshit, and pulling the gold out of the mud and muck.
Education.
Experience.
Street cred.
Creativity.
Obsession.
All of it aimed at one thing:
Finding the Savage Story™.
My work has been nationally recognized: Tampa’s Top 50 Dynamic Women, Yahoo’s #2 Mindset Coach Changing Lives, Best Gym Owner of the Year, and multiple NPC Figure & Physique titles.
I’ve run marathons, Tough Mudders, hitchhiked without ending up as a Dateline episode.
Proud wife.
Mom of two badass kids.
Law & Order addict.
Animal lover.
Aquarius fire.
Straight shooter.
I defy limitations.
I disrupt the norm.
I’m built different.
And if you’re here…
there’s a good chance you are too.
I'll see you on the inside.
