What if Weekends Didn't Exist?
Aug 07, 2023What if Weekends Didn't Exist?
How is your weekend different from your Monday through Thursday?
Your mindset
Your actions
Your movement
Your activity
Your habits
Your excuses
Your behaviors
Your choices
Your fuel
Your food
Your emotions
Your relationships
Your approach to YOUR life
What is different on a Friday night versus a Tuesday?
What is different on a long Saturday versus a Thursday afternoon?
What is your Sunday evening self-talk versus your hump day attitude?
I've been thinking a lot about this during my surgery recovery.
Honestly, I've been thinking about this for what feels like eternity.
How we change so much of who we are two days a week...
Two and a half if we count Friday night
The slight split-second routines we fall into
Some of us
Actually count down to
BUT what if we lived in a lifestyle where we knew no weekends?
Where any day of the week is wonderfully met with a rhythm we keep because we want to
Not because we are running or numbing or dreaming
What if we challenged ourselves to answer these questions
To hunt down the answers like a scavenger hunt that rewards us with treasures we never knew we wanted and needed so badly
What if we found a second world within where weekends don't exist
And a wanderlust for self-discovery is a journey that is ceaseless and speechless and an endless bliss...
And What if what we discover in it IS a way of life for us that is unique and healthier and happier And its wholesomeness breeds a harmony that helps us live our lives void of the vicious weekend cycle so many of us run into voluntarily...
What if every day we woke up existing in a world where we live in weeks with rolling days showing up like country back roads with sunsets and beaches with sand dunes and mountain tops with waterfalls and peaks and valleys with dreams and deserts that birth a vitality and a longevity that propels us into an existence where weekends don't exist because we know no difference.
